Aamir Khan’s Film Scored Huge Jump By 88% On 2nd Saturday, Set To Cross Hit 120 Crore Net India Today After 2nd Weekend

Aamir Khan is back to lighting up the box office as his recent film, Sitaare Zameen Par, is shining brighter by the day. Directed by R.S. Prasanna and co-starring Genelia Deshmukh, the film released in theatres on June 20, 2025, and is already stirring major nostalgia as a spiritual sequel to the 2007 gem Taare Zameen Par.

Sitaare Zameen Par Set For Solid 2nd Week

Sitaare Zameen Par held well on 2nd Friday despite new releases Maa and F1 The Movie. Film collected 6.67 crore on 2nd Friday and as expected, it jumped big on 2nd Saturday by 88%. Film scored 12.55 crore on day 9.

Film has total of 107.68 crore net in 9 days and should cross 31 crore over 2nd weekend which means its heading for 150 crore net plus lifetime finish. Film is another hit film of 2025.

Sitaare Zameen Par Scores Decent 88 Crore In 1st Week 

Sitaare Zameen Par picked up pace on Saturday, outperforming its Friday numbers. The film earned an estimated Rs 19.90 crore on Day 2, taking its total India collection to Rs 30.60 crore so far. It had kicked off with Rs 10.70 crore on its opening day, and the upward trend looks promising. All eyes were on Sunday to see just how big the film’s first weekend tally turns out to be and film delivered and how! 

Film collected 26.70 crore net on day 3 Sunday with 35% growth taking its weekend total to 57.30 crore net. After good weekend, film dropped on Monday by 23% from day 1 and 65% drop from day 3. Film collected 8.50 crore net on Monday followed by similar 8.60 crore net on Tuesday, 7.51 crore on Wednesday and 6.55 crore on Thursday. 

Film has total of 88.46 crore net which is a good result. Film should jump again over 2nd weekend as its urban and family centric film but now lifetime will not be of super hit verdict! Film will face stiff competition from new releases like Brad Pitt’s F1 and Kajol starrer Maa

About Sitaare Zameen Par

Sitaare Zameen Par is a sports comedy drama film directed by R. S. Prasanna, and produced by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit. Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra and Simran Mangeshkar will make their Hindi cinema debut with the film.
