In a candid chat that has delighted Bollywood fans, Aamir Khan has opened up about the real equation he shares with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, shedding light on their late-night bonding sessions that stretch till dawn. Speaking with Lallantop, the superstar traced his journey from playful spats with Shah Rukh in the 3 Idiots era to their current warm friendship, revealing a side of Bollywood’s Khans that rarely makes it to the spotlight.
Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan And The ‘Chichora’ Banter
Aamir reminisced about the days when he and Shah Rukh would exchange light-hearted digs. “I hadn’t known Shah Rukh so much that time, we would keep meeting often, we even hung out together back then at either of our places,” Aamir shared. Addressing a viral anecdote that sparked confusion years ago, he clarified he once blogged from his Panchgani farmhouse about “Shah Rukh licking his feet,” but it was actually the family dog, named Shah Rukh, who was the culprit.
He also spoke about being the butt of SRK’s jokes at award shows: “SRK often keeps making jokes on me, every year there are award functions and I don’t go to them, but they keep making fun of me.”
Aamir recalled how Shah Rukh had once called his elaborate promotions “chichorapan” during a film release, a comment Aamir says he took in stride. “SRK is a sensible man… if he finds that chichora what can I say, that’s his opinion… For me, it was an important experience as a human being… Shah Rukh might know better about it because he does a lot of it in his life; he is an expert at all this,” Aamir remarked.

Khans Bonding Over Drinks Till 7 AM
While many believed the Khans’ relationship was marked by professional rivalry, Aamir painted a different picture, sharing glimpses of their close camaraderie. “We often make plans to catch up, and we never stop at one drink… it’s usually till morning, 7 am, not just with Salman but with Shah Rukh too. This has happened eight to 10 times till now,” he revealed with a laugh.
Andaz Apna Apna 2 Buzz: Script in Progress, Reunion With Salman Khan Possible
While Aamir reminisced about late-night camaraderie, he also touched upon one of the most anticipated Bollywood updates: the sequel to the 1994 cult comedy Andaz Apna Apna. Aamir confirmed that director Rajkumar Santoshi is currently working on the script for Andaz Apna Apna 2, but stressed that it remains in the early stages. He emphasized, “Raj Santoshi is working on a version of Andaz Apna Apna 2, but it’s too early for me to say that it’s being made…until the script is ready and both Salman and I don’t love what he narrates and we say yes — until then, the film actually won’t be greenlit”
His comments offered a refreshing perspective on the true bond between the three superstars, one that extends beyond the silver screen and industry competition.
