Today the makers of Dhurandhar unveiled the first look and release date. Starring Ranveer Singh in a lead role, the action-thriller has been confirmed to arrive in theatres on December 5, 2025. Apart from Ranveer, the Aditya Dhar directorial stars Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal and R Madhavan. It will clash with two major films at the box office this year. Prabhas‘ The Raja Saab and Shahid Kapoor–Vishal Bhardwaj‘s untitled film are releasing on the same date as Dhurandhar.
Sharing the first look of Dhurandhar, Ranveer revealed that his film will be out in theatres on December 5, 2025. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film features intense action sequences. Its first look showcases fiery glimpses of Ranveer, Sanjay, Arjun, Akshaye and R Madhavan.
Talking about The Raja Saab, Prabhas’ Telugu film is directed by Maruthi. The official teaser of romantic horror comedy was released last month. It features Prabhas in a dual role. Besides him, the star cast consists of actors Sanjay Dutt, Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, and Riddhi Kumar.
As for Shahid’s next, the film hasn’t been titled yet. An action-thriller, directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, went on floors in January this year. Nadiadwala Grandson posted a sneak-peek of the film on Instagram with a caption that read, “A sneak-peek into a spectacular journey that begins today! Stay tuned as the magic unfolds. Straight from the Mahurat shoot! SajidNadiadwala Presents A @vishalrbhardwaj Film Film releasing on 5th December 2025.”
Ranveer Singh’s work front
Meanwhile, Dhurandhar marks Ranveer’s roaring comeback to movies. The actor was last seen in Karan Johar’s romantic comedy, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. He shared screen space with Alia Bhatt in the film. He is also slated to start shoot for Don 3 soon.
