Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale Trailer

“It’s hard to accept that it’s time to go… Your friendship has never been more important to all of us.” Focus Features has debuted the full official trailer for the epic finale of this franchise titledDownton Abbey: The Grand Finale, arriving in theaters worldwide this September. It’s the third Downton Abbey movie, after Downton Abbey (2019) and Downton Abbey: A New Era (2022) as well as 6 seasons of the original TV show that was a huge hit for ITV and PBS back in the 2010s. This finale follows the family and the Abbey into the 1930s in England. Many of the original franchise’s cast members, who also appeared in the previous films, are back. Paul Giamatti & Dominic West reprise their roles as Harold Levinson from the TV series & Guy Dexter from the last film (A New Era), respectively, while Joely Richardson, Alessandro Nivola, Simon Russell Beale, and Arty Froushan join the cast. The rest of the main ensemble includes Hugh Bonneville, Laura Carmichael, Jim Carter, Raquel Cassidy, Brendan Coyle, Michelle Dockery, Kevin Doyle, Allen Leech, Phyllis Logan, Michael Fox, Joanne Froggatt, and others. This looks like they’re going all out for the finale, playing up the powerful emotions above all. “Long live Downton Abbey.”
