Yash Raj Films has unveiled striking new character posters for War 2, sending adrenaline levels soaring among action fans. The visuals feature Hrithik Roshan reprising his role as Major Kabir Dhaliwal, Jr NTR making his Bollywood debut as antagonist Veerendra Raghunath, and Kiara Advani in a powerful, combat-ready avatar.
Kiara’s latest look portrays her in sleek black combat gear: crop top, jacket, fitted pants, and boots, brandishing a firearm with steely determination and intensity, hinting at a more action-oriented role than before. Hrithik appears rugged and charismatic as ever, while Jr NTR exudes fierce villainous energy, promising a high-stakes confrontation.
Anticipated Action Spectacle
Directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra, War 2 is the sixth installment in the YRF Spy Universe. It’s gearing up for a global theatrical launch on August 14, 2025, timed with India’s Independence Day weekend, and is being released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
The poster drop aligns with the film’s “50 days to go” promotional countdown. Social media buzz peaked as the teaser, released earlier this year on Jr NTR’s birthday, created significant stir. However, parts of its marketing faced controversy—some fans pointed out a scene featuring Kiara in a bikini had noticeable visual glitches, described by one Reddit user as a “shit green screen effect”.
