During their visit, Ganguly watched the trailer of Metro…In Dino and praised the film’s tone and emotional appeal. Expressing his support, he said, “I thank them for coming, I wish their film all the very best, it will do well!”

Metro…इन दिनों has already captured attention with its soulful music by Pritam, fresh pairings, and stories that audiences find relatable. The trailer and songs have both received positive responses, promising an emotional and heartwarming cinematic experience.

The film boasts a stellar ensemble cast, including Anupam Kher, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ali Fazal, Neena Gupta, and Saswata Chatterjee.
Aditya Roy Kapur Makes Musical Waves
At the Metro…In Dino album launch in Mumbai on June 24, Aditya Roy Kapur surprised fans by performing his debut song, “Ishq Hai Ya Tharak,” backed by composer Pritam and even joined virtually by Arijit Singh. It was a nostalgic moment reminiscent of his breakout in Aashiqui 2. He’s also revealed plans to release more original music, marking a fresh musical chapter in his career.
Gulshan Kumar and T-Series present Metro…In Dino in association with Anurag Basu Productions Pvt. Ltd. Directed by Anurag Basu, with music by Pritam, and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Anurag Basu, and Taani Basu, the film is set to release in cinemas on 4 July 2025.
