A little bit about myself:
I’m an ‘amateur’ filmmaker in every sense of the world. I work as an architect in Kolkata, and my free time is spent watching films and reading books related to film. I suppose when you consume too much of something, there grows in you a desire to make something of your own. I had a story in mind that I felt would make for a good short film, but I had no idea how to make that film. I decided to go ahead anyway and recruited a few friends who were just as clueless as me. So the making of ‘Visionary’ was me trying to teach myself the fundamentals of filmmaking. Despite our best efforts, the film was not a complete failure. In fact, it was a moderate success at local festivals, much to our surprise.
